Q: How does Callaway measure club length?

A: As of January 1, 2020, Callaway uses the ground-plane measurement method based on a USGA-modeled digital gauge.  Actual club lengths have not changed, but published lengths for drivers and fairway woods may appear ⅛”–¼” longer.  Hybrid, iron, and wedge length changes are minimal. Putter measurements remain unchanged.  This method was introduced with the MAVRIK line and applies to all future products.
